Privacy Policy
My Eternal Memoirs helps users record memoir content, manage contacts, schedule personal messages, and share released public memoir content.
When you create or use an account, we collect account information such as your email address, username or display name, optional phone number and profile details, authentication and verification records, and session information. Session information may include your IP address, user-agent, and timestamps when supplied to the authentication service.
We collect the content you choose to create or share, including profile images, memoir text, recorded or uploaded video and audio, personal-message titles and content, release schedules and visibility choices, comments, reactions, and reports. Content that you choose to make public or release to a recipient can be visible to the intended audience under the settings and schedule you choose.
Contact access is optional. After you agree to sync contacts and grant the device permission, we upload the contact names, phone numbers, and email addresses selected by the sync flow so they can be saved in your account, matched against existing My Eternal Memoirs accounts, and used for scheduled personal messages. You can remove synced contacts in the app.
If you enable notifications, we collect an Expo push token and the platform on which it was registered (such as iOS or Android), along with notification preferences and in-app notification history. We use this information to deliver the notifications you choose to receive.
For subscriptions, we store subscription status, entitlement, renewal, and cancellation-request information needed to provide Premium features. Apple App Store and Google Play process payments, and we do not receive or store payment-card details.
We use this information to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts, operate contact matching and scheduled releases, deliver verification and release emails, send notifications, provide subscription features, respond to support requests, and investigate abuse or violations of our terms.
We use service providers that process data for these purposes: Convex for application backend, database, and file storage; Expo for push-notification delivery; RevenueCat for subscription entitlement processing; Apple and Google for in-app purchase processing; and Resend for verification or scheduled-message email delivery when email delivery is configured. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy practices.
Advertising is not enabled merely by installing the app. If the service enables advertising, Google AdMob may process device and advertising-related information to serve or measure ads under Google's privacy practices. When advertising is disabled, the app does not request or display ads through AdMob.
We use HTTPS/TLS for production network communications and apply authentication and access controls to limit access to account data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please keep your account credentials confidential.
We retain account and app data while an account is active or as needed to operate the service. When account deletion is confirmed, the account is made unavailable immediately and a background process deletes the account record, associated profile data, contacts, memoirs, messages, media, notifications, push tokens, subscription state, and authentication records. Large accounts can require additional background batches before deletion is complete.
We may retain limited information when necessary to address content reports, protect users and the service, prevent fraud or abuse, meet legal obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. For example, moderation records created by other users or administrator audit records can be retained when required; references that can be cleared during account deletion are cleared by the service.
To request account or associated-data deletion without signing in, use https://myeternalmemoirs.app/account-deletion or email support@appsketiers.com from the account email address. Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed through the applicable store account settings.
For privacy or support requests, use the in-app Report and Support options in Settings.
